The new Contex ZPrinter 450 sets new standards in the field of 3D full-color printing systems.
The newly integrated automated handling makes it easy for the user to complete the print at every step
of the work process. The new features include automatic setup, loading of powder and control of material
and print status. In addition, the ZPrinter 450 is the first 3D printer to automatically recycle and clean the
residual powder. This reduces the handling time of the system by 40%. The newly defined inkjet printing
technology lowers operating and operating costs and avoids residual liquid waste.
The long-established powder-based printing technology avoids complex and questionable mechanical or
chemical removal of auxiliary structures.
Due to the closed working cycle, the complete system can be used in office environments, since the
new filling technology in the vacuum chamber of the working and cleaning area avoids the escape
of print material. The use of the vacuum system in the ZPrinter 450 thus ensures the use in the
office like commercial printers or copiers.
The ZPrinter 450 can be operated either via the LCD display on the printer or via the
supplied printing software. The new ZPrinter 450 works with a resolution of 300 x 450 dpi and
offers finely structured colored 3D models at speeds up to 10 times faster.
The printing costs are around 0.15 EUR to 0.20 EUR and are thus far lower than other technologies
in this printer segment.
